01

Follow the conversation.

Read live captions and highlight your configured callsign. The transcript stays available while you prepare a response.

02

Bring the details into focus.

Review captured headings, altitudes, frequencies, and altimeter settings alongside the original words. Uncertain text still needs your attention.

03

Make the reply yours.

Type a response, choose a saved message, or edit an optional AI draft. Playback begins only when you choose it. Radio push-to-talk remains manual.

BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

A few useful
answers.

Have a specific iPad or audio setup in mind? Get in touch.

Is ATC Stream available now?

ATC Stream is in beta. External TestFlight access is awaiting Apple’s review. You can email us about taking part; the public invitation link will be added when it is available.

What do I need to use it?

An iPad, an app account, internet access for live transcription, and microphone/audio permission. Capturing aircraft radio audio requires a compatible audio interface and testing with your particular setup.

Does it transmit over the aircraft radio?

The Transmit control plays device audio. ATC Stream does not key an aircraft radio or confirm that a message was received. Radio use requires compatible, tested equipment and manual push-to-talk.

Does it keep listening when I switch apps?

The current version pauses capture when it leaves the screen. Return to the app and resume audio. Keep ATC Stream visible when you need it to listen.

Do I have to use AI suggestions?

No. AI reply suggestions are optional and require separate consent. You can use typed replies and your saved messages. Review every suggestion and edit it before choosing to play it.

Is this certified aviation equipment?

No. ATC Stream is an assistive beta application. Transcription and generated replies can be wrong or incomplete. It is not a substitute for required communication equipment, ATC instructions, or pilot judgment.
